Hal Kirby - January 2013 Artist


TrawlerPlease join us on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 6:30 PM for a reception and artist talk featuring NH artist Hal Kirby, our resident artist for the month of January.  Hal is a retired Air Force pilot who has been painting in oils, acrylics, and  pastels for the past forty years.  He  is a past President of the Seacoast Artist Association of New Hampshire and currently holds memberships in  American Society of Marine Artists, The Oil Pastel Society, and the Seacoast Artist Association. A winner of many awards in local and regional art shows, Hal's oil pastel Texas Gothic (currently part of Hal's portfolio on display in our Weston Gallery) entered into the Oil Pastel Society's 2012 members show took first place in the Associate Division.  At age 74,  he's slowing down a little, but still showing his work in local art shows, art fairs, and online.
