ONE PERSON’S TRASH IS ANOTHER PERSON’S PUPPET -— At last week’s EXCL meeting, Children’s Librarians from around the seacoast met up at the Lane Library to talk shop, swap stories and, of course, to make some garbage puppets. EXCL members get together once every quarter to keep up with the goings-on of their contemporaries. The puppet theme from last week’s meeting was aided by the personal collection of Lane Memorial Library Children’s Librarian Cindy Stosse. Puppets are just one of the tools used by librarians to stir the imaginations of young children who visit their local libraries. Bartlett Library in Brentwood and Cindy Stosse.
