HAMPTON — The Friends of the Lane Memorial Library are holding a book sale at the library Thursday through Saturday, July 8-10. Both adult and children’s reading materials are available, as well as an ongoing bake sale.

The price of the books is as follows: Hardcovers are $2 each and paperbacks are $1 each the first two days and half-price the final day. All children's books are 25¢ each.

A special feature of this sale is the “preview” for Lane Memorial card-holders, taking place on Thursday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants must bring in their library card to attend. For more information about this event, please call President Dot Gooby at 926-4069.

The Friends of the Lane Memorial Library are a multi-age volunteer group whose mission is to preserve and strengthen the library as a community resource.
