Thirty children (age 7 and older) will be admitted to the Hogwarts School of Magic. “Throckmorton” will be instructing future wizards in the ways of magic as he tries to earn his teaching position at the school.
Sign ups will begin on May 1, 2003 and must be limited to only 30 chidlren. Participants will learn how to perform real magic tricks, props and all! Everyone attending will leave with a magic wand, a certificate, real magic instruction and having had a wonderful time.
“Throckmorton” or Gregory McAdams has been performing magic for 10 years and has worked closely with schools. Once inside, children will immediately know how much fun they will have. This program is in preparation for the release on June 21, 2003 of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Plans for this summer will include music (rock), geography (rock) and many programs for older readers.
Each Wednesday there will be an open story time for all non-readers. As in years past, all children are encouraged to participate in our summer program and being read to counts!
Sign ups for each program will be important this year as some of the programs will be limited - especially the Thursday afternoon programs for grades 4 and up. We will have more details in June!
