HAMPTON CENTER, c. 1926/27.
What is now the American Legion Hall and Grange Hall building is still a barn on the Mason/Stillings property. It was moved in 1928. The Bandstand in center of Marelli Square was built in 1925. What is now Lamie's Tavern is in its original position facing Exeter Road. It was turned toward Lafayette Road in 1931, raised and a first story constructed under the raised position for the dining room and kitchen.
