HAMPTON — Bernadette Parsons of Hampton is the winner of ACT ONE's Hampton Summer Theatre's "Exciting Travel Raffle." She is the recipient of two plane tickets to any Southwest Airlines destination and will travel in style to Manchester Airport courtesy of Regal Limousine Service of North Hampton.

Ms. Parsons, who loves to travel, was thrilled to receive the travel certificates "because Southwest goes to so many great cities!" Her first destination will be Arizona, and she is looking forward to the limousine ride to the airport.

"ACT ONE is immensely grateful to Southwest Airlines and Regal Limousine for their generous support of Hampton Summer Theatre," said Executive Director Stephanie Voss Nugent. "It is quite a struggle to keep the arts alive and well. How wonderful to have corporations and leading businesses step forward to help!"

ACT ONE's "Exciting Travel Raffle" began on June 24, opening day of Hampton Summer Theatre's 2004 season, and the lucky winner was drawn August 28 at the last performance of the season finale, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum."

Proceeds from the raffle will help balance the budget for Summer 2004.

"Bernadette Parsons was not our only winner," said Nugent. "Our theatre patrons very much want to see live theatre continue. The raffle put a lot of 'fun' in our fundraising. So we all won — thanks to Southwest and Regal Limousine."
