4th of July Field Day Held

By Hamptons' American Legion Post 35

Hampton Union, Thursday, July 11, 1963

[The following photograph is courtesy of the Hampton Union and Seacoast Online.]

"ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO!" are the words of starter John Holman, right center background, as many of the boys and girls who participated in the American Legion Post 35 sponsored 4th of July Field Day head for the finish line in a short dash last week. Joan Grenier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grenier, second left, took this particular race with ease. Shortly thereafter, the youngsters were served ice cream and tonic to top off the morning events. [Hampton Union photo by Wayne I. Elliot]
