HAMPTON -- People who choose to stay at a Bed and Breakfast spot are people who are looking for something special. Whether it is a chocolate on the pillow, a vase of fresh flowers to wake up to, or perhaps a warm hello and some friendly conversation, the Victoria Inn is that "Special Place" for visitors to the Seacoast.

A "Grand Inn" for many years at 430 High Street in Hampton, the Victoria Inn is open once again and ready to greet visitors looking for that unique experience.

Throughout the past winter months, the inn has been carefully restored and updated. New owners Aaron and Maureen Brown, having taken the time and care to restore the Inn, are eager for local residents to stop by and see all the beautiful things they have done. It is their hope that the Victoria Inn is a place that the entire Seacoast community can call home.

The inn's rooms have been carefully repainted and decorated, and everyone who has seen the inn comments on the warmth they feel the minute they walk through the door. A steady stream of guests filled the rooms this spring, and weddings are once again a familiar sight on the grounds.

Whether one is looking for a place for visiting relatives or friends to stay, or for a venue for the next business or family event, the Victoria Inn is that "special place" that is sure to make for a memorable day.

It will also be a special place for a memorable evening on Wednesday, August 20, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., when the owners and staff of the Victoria Inn join co-sponsors Atrio Properties, GMAC Real Estate and Wicked Awesome Paint when the host the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event.

As part of the evening, the owners are anxious to showcase all their hard work, and are offering tours of the Inn, with a free beverage to anyone taking the tour. In addition to the inside, the grounds will be open for all members and guests to stroll the property.

For co-hosts Wicked Awesome Paint, this event is an opportunity for them to showcase their quality paint products. During renovation of the Inn, all of the paint was purchased through Wicked Awesome. Guests will see firsthand how paint can truly transform the look of a home.

Business After Hours is open to Chamber members and their guests and those interested in the Seacoast business community. The Chamber will be holding a 50/50 raffle, and the Inn's staff is busily gathering a host of other prizes for door prize drawings. The host will be offering an assortment of delicious appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

Parking is free on site and attendants will be there to direct guests to the front porch to check in. For more information about Business After Hours, visit; for more information about the Victoria Inn
