HAMPTON -- Seacoast area women were treated to a gala fashion event at Present Perfect in Hampton Village on Thursday evening, March 15.
Renowned clothing designer Karen Warren, together with Present Perfect owner Edie Argo, presented a showing of Karen's latest spring fashions. Attendees enjoyed a preview of the new collection and were given the opportunity to try them on as well, which made for a fun evening.
"This is a fashion party," agreed Connie Allard and Wanda Syphers of Portsmouth. The pair said they "tried on everything from dresses to tops, jackets, skirts, slacks and capris. The clothes are not only beautiful with great fabrics but they are priced very reasonably as well."
The clothing style could be described as, "a little bit Ralph Lauren, a little Hamptons and a little 'Town and Country,'" said Warren.
The Karen Warren Collection at Present Perfect features blends of linen and Dubione in a choice of colors ranging from basic black to champagne, salmon and chartreuse, explained Argo.
"It was gratifying to see so many women come to the first event of this type in Hampton and have such a good time," she added. "It was so successful and fun that we are already planning our next 'Evening of Fashion' sometime this summer."
Present Perfect is located at 457 Lafayette Road in downtown Hampton. For more information, call (603) 926-3340.
