Positive Steps Fitness Center

More than a year ago, Peggy Williams and Douglas Stockbridge saw a need in Hampton.

Responding to that need, they opened Positive Steps Fitness Center, Hampton's ONLY CO-ED complete fitness facility. With an emphasis on cardio-vascular excercise, Positive Steps offers everyone a complete personal fitness program.

The major services offered by Positive Steps include: a full line of Nautilus equipment, coed aerobics for all ages in all levels, a Paramount weight training system, computerized bicycles, a free nursery, men's and women's showers, professional and certified instructors, and private fitness trainers.

The fitness center's hours will fit into everyone's schedule. It is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 a.m.,and closes Monday through Thursday at 9:00 p.m., Friday at 8:00 p.m. Saturday's operating hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Membership rates, both reasonable and affordable, vary depending on the terms of membership. You can join for one month, three months, six months or one year.
