Lt. Rita G. Palmer, ANC, and Lt. Helen Cassiani, ANC, of Bridgewater, nurses who served on Bataan, have been ordered to New York City for two weeks of special duty. They are station at the Hotel Commodore with six other army nurses; one a flight nurse, one who served in Italy and one who served in Australia besides triplets who look exactly alike. These nurses are on duty as a special exhibit on Fifth Avenue where tents have been set up representing nurses quarters, a field ward and an operating tent. The nurses answer questions about he Army Nurse Corps and encourage nurses to join the Army.
