K. Claire Bourque

July 4, 1928 - August 10, 2005

Claire Bourque in 2002 HAMPTON - K. Claire Bourque, 77, of Cusack Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, in Exeter Hospital.

She was born July 4, 1928, in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of the late Roy H. and Katherine C. (Clancy) Bourque and had resided in Hampton for more than 20 years.

She was a 1947 graduate of Haverhill High School.

Ms. Bourque was a customer service supervisor with New England Telephone for more than 30 years, working in Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell and Boston.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church and was a member and past president of the Catholic Women's Club.

She was a volunteer at Lane Memorial Library and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by one brother, Roy H. Bourque and his wife, Nancy, of North Hampton; a nephew, Edward Bourque and his wife, Marybeth Exner, of Exeter; two nieces, Elizabeth Diemer and her husband, Frederick, and Susan Saurman, all of Portsmouth; two great nieces and four great nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
