A Universe of Stories 2019Welcome to A Universe of Stories!  The Lane Memorial Library summer reading opportunities for all ages are beginning soon, so follow these links to find out about all the great events and programs we have in store.  Download our full brochure, or check the calendar of all our events.  Parents and children can jump directly to the Kids Summer Reading Page or Children's Calendar, Teens can check out their page and Event Calendar, and adults can plan to attend our lineup of concerts and lectures.

Build a LEGO Rocket
Teen Summer Reading ProgramMonday, 6/24 from 4 - 5 PM.  Assemble a 1,900 piece 1 meter tall LEGO(tm) NASA Apollo Saturn V Rocket.  Packed with authentic details, it features 3 removable rocket stasges including the S-IVB third stage with the lunar lander and lunar orbiter.  The rocket will be available all summer long for intrepid engineers to put together.

A Musical Baseball Show
A Musical Baseball ShowJoin singer / songwriter and former Red Sox sportswriter Howie Newman for a fun-filled evening of song and stories celebrating America's favorite pastime on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:30 PM. Free admission, and suitable for all ages.

Reserve Museum Passes Online
Museum Pass Reservations Thanks to funding by the Friends of the Lane Memorial Library , patrons may now reserve our Museum Passes online up to a week in advance.  Reduced-admission or free passes are available to any Hampton resident with a library card.  See our list of Museums with hours of operation and driving directions.
